Thanks for making the Turkey Trot a success!
On behalf of the Sparta Education Foundation, I would like to thank all of you who contributed your time, sponsorship dollars, and your heart and lungs to the fourth annual Krogh’s Restaurant and Brew Pub Turkey Trot.
The event was a success and raised close to $50,000 for the Sparta Education Foundation (SEF).
SEF is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support Sparta’s Public Schools. Over the last four years, our foundation has awarded grants in excess of $190,000 to provide technology and programs that promote academic excellence and ensure the health and vitality of one of our most valuable resources: our public school system.
It’s inspiring to see an event that brings families, individuals, and local businesses together in the spirit of bettering our community. A strong community counts on strong public schools to prepare its children to become productive citizens, strengthen property values and inspire civic pride.
Thank you for supporting Sparta’s tradition of strong public education and helping to make a community in which we can all take pride.
