Meet Our Newest Trustees
Heather Barth brings more than 15 years of experience as a paralegal, along with exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. As the mother of two daughters attending Sparta Public Schools, Heather is passionate about ensuring that every student has access to engaging, meaningful learning experiences that recognize their individual strengths and abilities.
Kate Hannum has spent more than 25 years in pharmaceutical advertising and is a published author and creative director. Coming from a family of educators, Kate understands the lasting impact of a quality education. A longtime Sparta resident and mother of four children in the district, she hopes to use her marketing expertise to strengthen community involvement and expand opportunities for local students.
Jessi Cino-Orwig brings more than two decades of creative leadership and experience developing successful campaigns for major brands. Currently leading an international creative team at Accenture Song, Jessi is excited to put her creativity and strategic thinking to work for SEF. Having grown up in the area, she is especially passionate about giving back to the community where she is now raising her daughter.
Erin Shearer joins the Board with a shared enthusiasm for supporting Sparta’s schools and strengthening our community. We look forward to the fresh perspective, ideas, and energy she will bring to SEF’s fundraising initiatives and educational mission.
Stronger Together for Sparta’s Students
SEF is powered entirely by dedicated volunteers who believe that great schools make great communities. Through fundraising events, community partnerships, and educational grants, the Foundation helps provide innovative programs, classroom resources, and enriching experiences that extend beyond traditional school budgets.
Our trustees play an essential role in making this work possible, contributing their time, talents, and expertise to turn community generosity into meaningful opportunities for students.
Please join us in giving Heather, Kate, Jessi, and Erin a warm welcome! We are excited to have them on the team and look forward to all we will accomplish together.
